The Premier America Credit Union Arena was electrified with energy on the night of April 13th, 2024, as the CSUN Matadors men’s volleyball team pulled off a hard-fought victory against their Big West rivals, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos. It was a night of celebration and determination, as the Matadors honored their graduating seniors while also battling for a crucial conference win. The atmosphere was charged with emotion from the start, as the Matador faithful rose to their feet, waving signs and cutout heads in support of their beloved seniors – Taylan Cook, Kyle Hobus, Jano Tello, and Griffin Walters.

The University of Hawai’i men’s volleyball team added another chapter to their storied history, capturing the OUTRIGGER Invitational title for the 11th time with a hard-fought victory over UC Irvine. The match, played at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center, was a five-set thriller that had fans on the edge of their seats. The third-ranked Rainbow Warriors showcased their resilience and determination, rallying from a first-set loss to outlast the fifth-ranked Anteaters.
