In the Cramer Quadrant, the No. 4 seed Dakota State Trojans (S.D.) pulled off a stunning 76-65 victory over the top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats. Jordan Reid of Indiana Wesleyan led all scorers with an impressive 25 points, but it was the Trojans’ Lilli Mackley who stepped up with 16 points, including a crucial three-pointer that gave Dakota State the lead late in the game.
“We knew we had to play our best basketball to beat a team like Indiana Wesleyan,” said Mackley after the game. “Our team showed incredible resilience and fought until the very end.”
