Grizzlies' Clarke Nears Return After Achilles Injury
The Memphis Grizzlies have been patiently awaiting the return of key frontcourt player Brandon Clarke, and that wait may finally be over soon. Clarke, who suffered a torn left Achilles tendon back on March 3rd against the Denver Nuggets, has been diligently rehabbing with the goal of getting back on the court before season’s end.
That could become a reality as soon as this week. For Monday’s game against those same Nuggets, the Grizzlies listed Clarke as “doubtful” - the first time this season he has carried any designation other than “out.
