Celtics Give Horford a Night Off Against Pistons
The Boston Celtics will be shorthanded when they take on the Detroit Pistons on Monday night, as the team has ruled out veteran big man Al Horford for rest purposes.
Horford, who missed several games earlier this season due to health and safety protocols, is getting a night off after playing 23 minutes in the Celtics’ 130-104 win over the Washington Wizards on Sunday. The 36-year-old finished that game with 14 points, four rebounds, and two assists while knocking down a pair of three-pointers.
