Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez is steeling his side for an epic “football war” in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie against Paris Saint-Germain at the Camp Nou. The Blaugrana take a slender 3-2 lead into Tuesday’s return fixture after an enthralling first leg in Paris last week. However, Xavi knows his players will need to be at their very best to see off the star-studded French champions and book a semi-final berth.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique is adamant his side can pull off a miraculous comeback against Barcelona and advance to the Champions League semi-finals despite losing the first leg 3-2 at home. “We have never come back to win after losing a first leg, but [Tuesday] is the day,” Enrique stated defiantly. “We have a very united group of players, in which there are no egos.” The former Barcelona boss knows a thing or two about improbable European revivals.
