Wake Forest Earns NIT Top Seed, Hosts App State Wednesday

Winston-Salem, NC - The Wake Forest men’s basketball team secured a No. 1 seed in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) and will host App State in the first round on Wednesday, March 20, at 8 p.m. ET. The game will air on ESPN+, marking the Demon Deacons’ second postseason appearance under head coach Steve Forbes. Despite a 20-13 record and an 11-9 mark in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Wake Forest narrowly missed out on an NCAA Tournament bid.
