The UAB Women’s Tennis team continued their impressive form on Saturday, cruising to a dominant 6-1 victory over Middle Tennessee State University on the road. The Blazers wasted no time in asserting their authority, capturing the doubles point to take an early lead in the match. The formidable duo of Vanessa Mellynchuk and Mackenzie White made light work of their opponents on Court 1, securing a 6-2 win. Meanwhile, Adela Wasserbauerova and Sydney Clarke clinched the crucial doubles point for UAB with a hard-fought 7-5 triumph on Court 2.

In a gripping road battle against the Sacramento Kings, the New York Knicks emerged victorious with a hard-fought 98-91 win, thanks to the heroics of Jalen Brunson. The guard’s phenomenal 42-point performance, coupled with the team’s stifling defense, proved too much for the Kings to overcome. Brunson’s scoring prowess has been on full display lately, as he joined an elite group of players who have scored 42 or more points in consecutive games.
