SEATTLE, WA - The Buffalo Sabres entered Monday night’s matchup against the Seattle Kraken knowing that every game from here on out could make or break their playoff aspirations. Sitting just outside the Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference, the Sabres needed to bounce back from a disappointing loss to the Detroit Red Wings and keep their postseason dreams alive. And bounce back they did, thanks to a hat trick performance from veteran winger Jeff Skinner that powered the Sabres to an emphatic 6-2 victory over the Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena.

In a true display of offensive prowess, Jeff Skinner etched his name into the record books with a sensational hat trick, propelling the Buffalo Sabres to a resounding 6-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken. The game, played at the Climate Pledge Arena, was a showcase of skill and determination from both sides, but it was ultimately Skinner’s night to shine. Skinner’s first goal came just 3:56 into the opening period, giving the Sabres a 2-1 lead with a well-placed wrist shot that found its way past the Kraken’s goaltender, Joey Daccord.
