Winston-Salem, NC - The Wake Forest men’s basketball team secured a No. 1 seed in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) and will host App State in the first round on Wednesday, March 20, at 8 p.m. ET. In a clash of basketball titans at the ACC Tournament in Washington, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons emerged victorious over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish with a hard-fought 72-59 victory. Sallis emerged as one of the ACC’s elite scorers, pouring in 18.3 points per game to finish fifth in the conference scoring race. His scoring prowess was predicated on remarkable efficiency - shooting a blistering 50% from the field, 42% from three-point range, and 80% at the free throw line.
